The ROC curve was calculated to assess the association between sensitivity and specificity of serum CEA and the OR to chemotherapy in NSCLC patients. The area under the curve is 0.615 (95% CI = 0.535-0.695), and a 5.28% reduction of CEA levels was an appropriate cut-off value in predicting an OR to chemotherapy, with a sensitivity of 61.3% and a specificity of 62.4%
