India is now a vibrant hub for clinical research. It is estimated that more than 200 CRO's are functioning in our country at the last count. The number is growing. Clinical research is a cumbersome process involving many specialists like doctors, statisticians, social workers and sponsors. The outcome of research generally has a far-reaching consequence to the society. Hence, the process involved is rigorous. I have always found the paper work done very distressed and sometimes overwhelming. The book simplifies and demystifies the entire process. It is an excellent guide for those involved in clinical research. May be a list and of regulatory agencies involved in granting various permissions can be useful. The book has undergone two editions in a quick succession is the proof of popularity.
